I bought some cottonwood...yes, thats right cottonwood. I didn't know you could use this wood for  making things. Well, I have tried. It works ok i guess, but I am trying to stain it and it is a "Bear" as you can see by the pictures. I will post additional pictures as things progress. I changed the blade on my band saw and tuned it up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A while back I purchased the parts and supplies for a small project I saw in one of the woodworking publications so it seemed like a good time to get started. They came from a tree they cut down two or three years ago. They should be dry enough by now and I have the equipment and courage to tackle them.
